why the game stamds tall.

                                                                 Why the game stands tall

The game stands tall because of the simple fact that there is no I in team therefore, your team can prosper if even one person is not in sync with the rest of the team. That is the whole reason that this movie is one of my favorites another reason is because there is a lot of good life lessons and one of the ones that resonates with me still today is ''never give up even if the odds are stacked against you.'' and what that means to me is everyone in your life may be bigger than you but never give up you never know what you may achieve.

Pacific Rim by Donavon Becker

Pacific rim is a movie where these monsters called kaiju are trying to take over the world and destroy every thing. The government build giant robots called jeager bots and they are build to kill the kaiju.

The Butler: By; Alicia Orozco

The Butler

"The Butler" is based on a true story."Cecil Gaines was a sharecropper's son who grew up in the 1920s as a domestic servant for the white family who casually destroyed his. Eventually striking out on his own, Cecil becomes a hotel valet of such efficiency and discreteness in the 1950s that he becomes a butler in the White House itself. There, Cecil would serve numerous US Presidents over the decades as a passive witness of history with the American Civil Rights Movement gaining momentum even as his family has troubles of its own. As his wife, Gloria, struggles with her addictions and his defiant eldest son, Louis, strives for a just world, Cecil must decide whether he should take action in his own way. - Written by Kenneth  Chisholm
I like this movie because it has all of his experiences throughout the entire movie, which keeps any person like me able to watch the film. This movie is inspiring, sad, and great at the same time. I couldn't imagine being him, he was so brave and strong through the hard times! I think everybody should watch this movie just like I did. In my opinion I think a lot of people will enjoy this movie especially the people that lived through that hard time.

Chasing Mavericks By: Alicia Orozco

Heyyy!! I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite movies "Chasing mavericks". This movie is based on a true, inspiring story! The movie is about a young teenage boy wanting to learn how to surf the big waves and nothing would get in his way!! This inspiring movie is based on a
true story, this story all starts when he was a little boy (Jay) and his best friend  (Leven) were playing with there dog on the cliff next to the ocean, and then Jay threw the ball to far and ended up chasing
after it which at that time a huge wave came and took him and then A man (Gerard) came to the rescue which inspired Jay to surf. Anyways, a little later as he got a little older he tried surfing but got cut trying so another little boy helped him (Jonny). So when they became teenagers all three were really good friends. Later on in the movie Jay wanted to learn how to surf but needed a older teacher so he went to Gerard for help, at first Gerard didn't want to help Jay then Jay and Gerard's wife got to him so he finally helped Jay. So after Gerard helped Jay over and over, Jay got the hang of surfing, Finally, one day Jay followed Gerard to this secret place where there is mavericks which are huge waves and wanted to ride one on the day where there was going to be the biggest wave ever, anyways at first Gerard said no but then he thought about it and finally said yes since he might do it behind his back. So when that big day came he finally got to ride that wave and ended up winning first place. At the end of the movie it shows a part of everybody that new Jay in the water throwing water up and saying "for Jay" because Jay died when he turned 21 from a maverick wave. Well, I hope you like this brief summary of the movie, and I hope you watch the movie soon if haven't already!

The Benchwarmers By: Deishanae Napoles

Hey guys! My favorite movie is the Benchwarmers. Why? Let me explain, the movie is about three adult nerds; Gus(Rob Schneider), Clark(Jon Heder), and Richie(David Spade), who were constantly bullied as kids because of there less-than-stellar athletic abilities. When Gus, Clark, and Richie get the feel for the game again Gus challenges some bullies to play them for the field, and the three friends, despite Clark and Richie's poor abilities, win the game. Days later one of Clark's old bullies, Brad, challenges him and his friends to a game. They win again. Since that game on they play a bunch of baseball teams to win a new stadium for those kids who would like to play ,but can't because of the bullies. At the end instead of Gus, Clark, and Richie playing in the big championship game the kids play for them. After all it comes out to be a very happy ending.
